Established in 2006 by Andy Eggleston, EWP has grown in to a passionate and hard working team who enjoy a culture that encourages exceptional work balanced with a healthy outlook on life.

Originally set up to provide accounting & tax services to UK individuals and businesses operating in France, EWP has grown to support clients across the UK, Europe and the US. Our services now extend beyond accountancy & tax to advisory, transformation and funding.

Andy loves to race - on his bike, on the running trails, in the water - whether its Iron Man, Dubai or the Cape Epic, S.A. Andy is committed to achieving the best result he can.

Andy's competitive spirit drives him to constantly question and challenge in search of new and better ways for his clients to do business.

Incredibly personable and empathetic Andy builds valued and lasting relationships which deliver meaningful results to the businesses he works with.

Andy is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, qualifying with KPMG in the restructuring practice before leaving to form EWP.

Andy has launched several other businesses and sits as a non-executive director on boards across a range of sectors, advising on finance and strategy.

Fluent in French, Andy is also a partner in French accountancy firm - SAREG.
Chris Lavender

Whether its competing on the Transalp Mountain Bike race; cycling across America; enjoying a 'bike ride meeting' in the Welsh valleys or training on Zwift - it's all about the bike!

Chris began his career as a technology consultant before moving in to sales and business management.

Chris has worked for some of the world’s most prolific tech companies; founded and exited a highly respected niche travel business and consulted for a range of SMEs across multiple sectors.

Chris understands the importance of culture in a business. His interpersonal skills make him incredibly effective at working with existing teams to devise turn-around and growth strategies, securing buy in and commitment to the changes needed to achieve successful transformation.

In August 2019, Chris merged his business - Rockpoint Ventures - with EWP.
Robyn Gard

Business Manager

In summer you will find Robyn road cycling world famous Cols or on the tennis courts as an aspiring Venus Williams. In winter, the bike and racket go in to storage and are replaced by a perfectly tuned snowboard, ready to ride the Chamonix steeps.

Robyn began her career as a hotel and project manager before moving into finance at EWP in 2009. Today, Robyn heads up the Chamonix office, providing invaluable financial and operational knowledge and guidance to the team and ensuring both the team and our clients are consistently happy.
Caroline Cole

Associate Partner

Caroline is our self-confessed accounting geek i.e. a person who has excessive enthusiasm for a specialised subject. Caroline likes to hike in the mountains with her dog - Toffee, but is equally at home enjoying Game of Thrones with a glass of rose.

Caroline is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She qualified in the Small Business Group at Deloittes, then was partner at a regional firm, followed by running her own accounting practice before joining EWP.

Having advised owner-managed businesses of all sizes for 20+ years, Caroline focuses on ensuring clients structure their business and personal affairs tax efficiently and are aware of their reporting obligations. Caroline also provides support through changes in their business and looks for opportunities to help them grow.

Caroline’s combined UK and French degree in Finance and Accounting equips her to deal with clients in both French and English.
Tom Rowntree

Senior Accountant

Tom is a keen mountain biker, and relishes extremely long rides such as the 4,200km Tour Divide from Canada to Mexico which he completed in 19 days in 2016 and the 900km Highland Trail in which he was first finisher in 2015. He also dabbles in road cycling, and completed the 1,200km Paris Brest Paris randonneur in 2019. In winter he loves to get out ski mountaineering in the mountains around Chamonix.

Tom is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, having qualified in Edinburgh in the Audit and Business Advisory department of a mid-tier firm.

A spell working in commerce dealing with French accounts for multinational companies, as well as several years at EWP has given Tom the knowledge and understanding to help a wide range of clients with their UK and French accountancy and tax affairs.
Rebecca Binks

Trainee Accountant

Outside of the office Rebecca likes to be in motion. Before moving to the Alps this involved running marathons on the roads, and even flying in the skies courtesy of her pilot's license. In Chamonix this has evolved to running ultra-marathons across the mountain trails in summer, and either snowboarding down the mountains or ski-touring up them in winter.

Rebecca has over a decade of Trading and Sales experience from the largest International Investment banks including Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. Along with the experiences she gained from working in smaller enterprises across Europe and North America this places her in a valuable position to always advise with the aim of exceeding profitability while reducing risk.

Rebecca likes to be challenged and to bring efficiency, control and structure to every role. She is now diversifying her experience and complementing her skill set by studying for her ACCA.
Carla Atack

Carla grew up in Cyprus and loves the sunshine and good food. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, keeping fit and of course snowboarding!

Carla joined EWP from Camper and Nicholsons International, Monaco in February 2019. She graduated with a BA(Hons) in Fashion Business from London College of Fashion and worked in finance in London before moving to France in 2015.

Carla is currently studying for her accountancy exams and is part-qualified with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
Emma Morgan

Outside the office, Emma can be found running a book club, walking the mountain trails with her dog, telemarking the slopes in winter, dabbling in arty & crafty projects and escaping to the sea as often as she can.

Emma began her career in hospitality before moving into finance, focussing on accountancy in English and French whilst consistently and successfully implementing new and improved systems and procedures. Prior to joining EWP Emma gained a wealth of experience across a range of businesses, both large and small, which have provided her with a valuable insight into the structure, operations and challenges of many of her clients. These experiences include maintenance roles on a campsite, management roles in hotels and the planning of transfer operations followed by accounts preparation for a large tour operator in the Alps.

Emma has been with EWP for over 10 years and is very much the backbone of the organization. Technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to every detail and a focus on IT skills have enabled Emma to develop many of the procedures employed within EWP. Emma understands the importance of technology in the modern world of business. Her interest and advanced skills in IT systems and procedures underpins the company's core structural values of staying ahead of the curve in adopting new technologies and providing support to clients and colleagues.
Monika Clapham

Business Management

A graduate in linguistics, Monika has tri-lingual experience in export and customer service which combined with her professionalism and efficiency make her an integral part of the business management team at EWP.

Monika is the bookkeeping guru at EWP with an intricate knowledge of Xero and Quick Books where she both develops management accounts and delivers client training. Her expertise assists clients in getting the best out of their accounting software and a clearer understanding of their business finances.

When she doesn't have her nose in a computer screen, you might find her running on mountain trails, cycling alpine cols, practising yoga or conquering alpine summits with her husband.
Olga Tihanyi

Payroll / Accounts Assistant

Olga enjoys the outdoors, bike riding and fishing. She loves traveling and enjoys new experiences as well as a good Netflix binge.

Olga is responsible for Payroll and Secondment, as well as assisting the Accounting Team in accounts preparation and bookkeeping.

Olga started her career at a multinational corporation planning and evaluating the accounts receivable functions, before moving to managing system of Business Support Operations for commercial financing; as account manager handling portfolios of large and complex customers working closely with sales representatives and credit analysts.

Olga prides herself on her dedication to her highly professional work ethic. Olga’s knowledge and experience in a wide range of many different aspects of business have made her very adaptable. She truly believes that every business is about relationships, whether it is between managers and employees, executives and colleagues or clients.
Nathalie Andreassian

Born in the Chamonix valley Nathalie loves to travel. When she's not assisting clients you will find her planning the next adventure - whether its hiking in the Himalayas, skiing the mountains of the alpine arc or camping locally around Mont-Blanc. When Nathalie isn't at the top of a mountain she likes nothing more than to share her experiences with friends over dinner - local food and wine of course!

Nathalie began her career in the oil trading industry working in various roles before moving in to travel and tourism and business management.

Nathalie is bi-lingual and commands exceptional communication skills which she uses to assist EWP clients with some of the idiosyncratic challenges associated with operating a business in France.

Known for her humble demeanor Nathalie will always do her utmost possible to help.
Janine Heyes

Bookkeeper

Having left university with a degree in Chemistry Janine went on to work in the production and manufacturing of alcoholic drinks and subsequently the luxury car market.

Swapping overalls and a clipboard, Janine left the luxury car market to work in the debt management industry, managing money for both individuals and businesses.

In 2014 Janine decided to swap Liverpool for the Alps to enjoy more time on the mountain snowboarding and skiing. During the summer Janine enjoys yoga and hiking.
